Food is my passion - my grandmother always told me you can never find a man to marry you if you don't know how to cook. I left the Philippines when i was 18 and moved here.. Ever since then, i have been watching  cooking shows. Almost everyday i cook and invite friends over.. Last year (2013) The Phillipines was hit with one of the worlds strongest typhoon. My dad and other relatives lost their homes, and with  not enough source of income, i decided to do a bake sale with the help of my co workers. After the event i still had people asking me to place orders for custom cupcakes and cakes. I decided to keep going and named it #yomamascupcakes. A year later i tried selling some of the Filipino food that i always make just to try it. It became popular in demand and that's why i created #yomamaskitchen and later on merged into one.. Yomamascupcakes and Yomamaskitchen becacame  #YOMAMASCATERING
